A local Realtor association, also known as a local board of Realtors or a multiple listing service (MLS) board, is a membership-based organization that represents real estate professionals in a specific geographic area. These associations are typically affiliated with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and are run by a board of directors who are elected by the membership.
